Introduction
In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Science, the Science Faculty Distinguished Alumni Award is set up in 2023, to recognise the exceptional achievements of our alumni in different professional fields worldwide. Thanks to the support of the Selection Committee of the inaugural award, seven award recipients had been successfully selected in 2023. With an aim of recognising more Science alumni who have made outstanding contributions and achievements in their professional fields or to greater society, nominations for the Science Faculty Distinguished Alumni Awards are now open.
Nomination Deadline: 12:00 noon on 29 December 2025 (HKT)
Selection Criteria
The Award recognises alumni for their exceptional accomplishment in the professional fields such as the academia, the business sector, or the industry, which brings distinction to themselves and honour to the University.
The Selection Committee which comprised of both internal and external members will consider the suitability of the nomination based on one or more of the followings:
